Southampton, NY, Thursday, April 09, 2020 – Businesses close and unemployment skyrockets during the pandemic, but The Biscotti Company, pivots to donate cookies and smiles to our heroes at Eastern Long Island Hospital.
Bruno LoGreco recently developed his new Italian cookie company, The Biscotti Company, to much praise and more orders than he anticipated. “We were very excited by the enthusiasm for our homemade biscotti, and then the COVID-19 pandemic hit.”
LoGreco is redirecting his efforts to support healthcare workers who are fighting on the front lines of this war. The Biscotti Company, which LoGreco launched in January, is donating it’s inventory of cookies each week to do so. LoGreco’s own family roots are in hard-hit Italy, where the family recipe for his biscotti originates.
“Everyone around the world is dealing with this pandemic. We wish to bring a little taste of love and perhaps some smiles to the men and women on the frontlines of our community on Long Island. We want them to know we are here to support them.”
The Biscotti Company LLC is known for its Chocolate Almond Biscotti, available at specialty food retailers and Italian grocery stores.
